Wash Day, Consistently

A predictable wash day — cleansing the scalp, conditioning the lengths, moisturizing while damp — is the anchor habit everything else hangs on. How often you wash depends on your hair and lifestyle; that it happens consistently matters more than the exact interval.

Moisture & Conditioning Between Washes

Between wash days, keep the fiber flexible: a water-based leave-in or refresher mist, a light seal, and deep conditioning on a regular rhythm. Dry, stiff fiber is what snaps; flexible fiber survives life.

Nights, Heat & Resets

Satin or silk at night removes a surprising amount of nightly friction. When heat styling, use protection and lower temperatures — or skip it when you can. And plan occasional resets: a clarifying cleanse when buildup dulls hair, a trim when ends fray, so small problems stay small.

Key Takeaways

Consistency is the anchor habit — exact intervals are secondary

Keep the fiber flexible between washes

Satin at night; low, protected heat when styling

Scheduled resets keep small problems small

Why This Matters

Visible hair health is mostly a compounding-interest story: small habits, repeated for months, outperform everything dramatic.
